Crested Guardians is a non-profit 501(c)(3) foundation comprised of a group of volunteers devoted to protecting and helping the Chinese Crested dog in need.

MISSION STATEMENT

With over fifty years of combined experience in rescuing Chinese Crested dogs, Crested Guardians is a group of dedicated volunteers living across the United States who work together to preserve and protect Chinese Cresteds in need.   It is our mission to make a positive change in the lives of unwanted or abandoned Chinese Crested dogs through transporting, fostering, nurturing, socializing, providing medical care and professional, positive-reinforcement-based training.   The ultimate goal of Cresteds Guardians is to place each rescued Crested into a loving forever home.

The members of Crested Guardians work closely with shelters, animal control officers and families needing to give up their Chinese Crested dog. We provide needed medical care, transportation, foster homes, and training for each dog that comes into our care.

Once a dog enters our care, we will seek to provide the highest quality of care and respect for every life. Our group works together as a team in a variety of ways and we often travel great distances and seek expert medical care in order to save one dog.

We have all heard over and over about the bad economy and how that is affecting businesses. Dog rescues are being affected as well! While it may be hard to make large donations at this time would you be able to spare $1? What about $1 for every person in your household? Or $1 for each of your pets? For most of us this averages out to a $5-$10 donation. Let's see how far we can make $1 go in one week! From June 1 to June 7 donate $1 to Crested Guardians for each person and or pet in your household and let's see if we can turn $1 per person (or pet!) into $500!!
